If our healt care industry were based on people's needs ratherthan the bottom line, perhaps people could get the kind of treament they need - veterans, retrned Peace Corps volunteers and many other categories f people who serve, are simpy dismissed with about 180 days worth of limied services. It takes 6 months sometimes to figure out that you have an issue. We treat people like numbers and measure success with inapproprate standards...from the whole no-child eft behind folly to the mendical industry...
