It's holding at 20 here all week so far. Still not cold enough to hold off the lake effect snow though.
It was 22 below when I woke up. The radio guy said it was 18 below when I came to work. I don't know how the people who live farther north are dealing with it -- it's gotta be colder up in Minneapolis or points north!
The good thing about Iowa is no lake-effect snow. The bad thing about Iowa is that there's nothing for 700 miles in any direction to stop the wind, other than a few barbed-wire fences. It gets a tad breezy on the plains.
Does all that cold kinda keep your mind off the healing pains you've been having???? 8-)
