C...Shiner, is definitely a cultural icon in Texas. Can't testify as to the taste despite my long sojourn in Texas since I don't drink anything but tequila when the time comes. But empty Shiner bottles were <EM>everywhere</EM> in Houston. For a while, I thought they were part of the landscaping at University of Houston.
